This course provides a comprehensive introduction to mobile app development with iOS and Android. You’ll learn how to create apps for iPhone, iPad and Android devices. In addition to learning about the different operating systems involved in app development, you’ll also learn how to use various tools such as Sketch or Xcode and develop your own mockups using Photoshop or Illustrator.
What is App Development?
The term “app development” relates to the procedure of creating computer programmes for use on portable electronic devices such tablets, smartphones, and smart watches. Unique and creative mobile-only applications for things like taxi and bike sharing can be made utilizing mobile device features like cameras, motion, and location awareness.
Popular search, browsing, and social media apps are often preinstalled on mobile devices, and users can download and install new apps via Google Play (Android) and the Apple App Store (iOS). Distinct operating systems demand separate mobile applications, therefore developers should get familiar with both Apple’s iOS and Google’s operating systems.
App Development Course Description
This course is a full-time, in-class training program that covers iOS and Android app development. The course includes three modules:
Core App Development – This module focuses on building an app from start to finish using Xcode, Swift 3, Storyboards, and other Foundation tools. Students will learn how to design their apps in Xcode before developing them with Swift.
- Advanced Topics – In this module students will learn about I/O Services for background processing as well as Core Data for local storage when needed; they will also build several more complex apps including one with push notifications (also known as “push messaging”) which allows users access different parts of an application without having to open it every time they want something new added!
Career Paths – The final module provides an overview of some careers available after completing this program such as software engineer or developer analyst who can work on projects such as designing new features or fixing bugs within existing ones.”
The minimum age of 18 years is required to enroll in the course. Some programming knowledge, familiarity with Objective-C and Java and a Mac or Linux operating system are required before applying for admission into this course.
Who is This Course for?
The course is intended for those who wish to learn the ropes of web development, but lack the time or motivation to learn on their own. This can be both a personal or professional setback; many people find themselves stuck in a dead-end job because they don’t know how to code.
App Development Course Content
The course will take you through the entire process of building an app from designing the user interface, to testing and optimisation.
The course will cover all aspects of mobile app development including:
- iOS and Android app development
- UX/UI design and development (including wireframing)
- App monetisation and marketing
Learning and assessment
The learning is done through a mixture of lectures, tutorials and labs. Assessments are done by a final project.
The final project is an app that you design and build from scratch.
This course covers both iOS and Android app development.
This course covers both iOS and Android app development. It is a beginner-level course that will teach you the basics of developing apps for both platforms.
The first part of this course focuses on learning how to build an app, which includes topics like creating a project file and setting up configurations for your application in Xcode or Android Studio. You’ll learn about how to create user interfaces using Xcode or Android Studio and how to control those user interfaces using code so that they work as expected when users run them on their devices (or through emulators). The second part of this course covers advanced topics such as testing and debugging, design and UI/UX, working with dependencies between projects (e.g., third party libraries)
In this course, you will learn the basics of building mobile apps for Android and iOS. You’ll start by learning the fundamentals of programming, then move on to exploring some of the most popular languages used today: Java and Objective-C. You’ll learn how to use them in a practical setting through hands-on exercises that include building apps from scratch using real data from your own business! This course is perfect for both beginners who want an introduction into Android app development or anyone who wants to get started with mobile application development in general.
