If you’re new to Google Ads, or just looking for a new way to get your business out there, then this course is for you. We’ll teach you everything from setting up a new account and creating your first campaign to tracking and optimizing those ads so they perform better than ever before.

Lesson 1: What is Google ads?

Google ads is a paid advertising program that helps you reach potential customers. When someone searches for your product or service, they will see an ad for it on the right hand side of their search results page.

Google Ads are dynamic ads that automatically track conversions and correlate them with your website’s traffic. This means that you can get reports about how many people clicked through to your site, how long they stayed there, what pages they visited, etc., which gives you valuable insight into how effective your online marketing strategy is working (and also allows us to make adjustments).

Lesson 2: Setting Up a New Account

To set up a new account, you will need the following:

  • A Google Account. You can create one or sign in to your existing one.
  • A credit card. This is the only way to pay for your ads and get paid when they run (in other words, make money).
  • An address where you want ads to show up on Google Search and Maps (e.g., your business website). If there’s no physical place where people can see what’s being advertised, it won’t work!
  • A telephone number that shows up as an option when someone searches for products/services nearby—this lets them know about your business without them having to call first!

Lesson 3: Setting up Your First Campaign

To set up a new campaign, follow these steps:

  • Go to the adWords home page and click on “Create Campaign.”
  • On the next page, select “New Campaign” from the drop-down menu.
  • Fill in your name for this campaign and choose whether you would like it to be related to keywords or not (we’ll discuss this later). Once done selecting these options, click “Continue.”
  • On this next screen where we have our budget settings listed under “Budget” there are two fields that we need to fill out: Initial Budget (the amount of money allotted towards running ads) and Monthly Budget (how much money should be spent over a period of time). You can also set up daily budgets by clicking on Daily Budgets under Initial Budget & Monthly Budgets under Monthly Budgets respectively; however I recommend keeping track of how much money has been spent so far via Google Ads Reports instead since they offer more detailed information about what types of keywords people searched using as well as other important metrics such as conversion rate which tells us how many people actually clicked through our ads versus how many were actually interested enough in buying something from us based off past purchases made by visitors who visited this website during certain times periods early last year – say April 2017 through July 2018 i’ll explain below when discussing lesson 4!

Lesson 4: Creating ads That Sell

In this lesson, you’ll learn how to write ads that sell.

  • Write ad copy that sells. Ad copy is the text in an advertisement that appears on a website or social network when someone clicks on it. This can be anything from a simple “buy now” button to more detailed information about how something works or what it’s good for. The best way to get people interested in your product is by offering them something they want—and if you have a good product, customers will naturally gravitate toward it!

Lesson 5: Tracking and Optimizing

In this lesson, we’ll talk about tracking and optimizing.

  • Tracking your ads is an important step in the process of digital advertising. You need to know what works and what doesn’t in order to improve your campaigns over time. If you don’t track how well an ad performs, it’s impossible for anyone else (including Google) to know if they’re using the same strategies as before or not—and if something isn’t working, then maybe there’s a better way!
  • Optimizing ads is another crucial part of digital marketing that requires careful thought before implementation: Are those images too small? Should I change my headline font size? Do I need more text on my website page itself…
