The meta description is the snippet of text that appears under the title of your search result. It’s important to include your target keyword in this section as it allows Google to better understand what your page is about, and how relevant it might be for users who come across it.
The meta description should be unique per page, so make sure to include information about:
- What you offer (or sell)
- Why people should buy from you
- How long they can expect their purchase to last
You’ve probably heard that subheads are a great way to break up the text and make it easier for readers to digest. But what exactly is a subheading?
A subhead is simply another word or phrase that appears in boldface on top of the first line of each paragraph, followed by an underlined colon (:) and then one or more sentences underneath it.
