Petroleum Engineering Course in Rawalpindi

We offer the Petroleum and Gas Engineering Course. If you want to know more about this course, then please contact us at: petroleum engineering course in rawalpindi Petroleum engineering is a branch of engineering concerned with the development of new energy sources and the extraction and refinement of petroleum. The study and practice of petroleum engineering includes the design, construction, operation, maintenance and repair of production facilities (refineries), pipelines and other transportation systems used in transporting crude oil or refined products from their point of origin to markets.

Petroleum engineers are also involved in producing natural gas from coal seams; designing integrated steel plants that manufacture steel beams or plate etc.; designing nuclear power plants; building nuclear reactors such as pressurized water reactors (PWRs) designed by General Electric Company; designing conventional hydrocarbon processing plants such as distillation towers which remove liquid hydrocarbons from crude oil stills prior to separation into various fractions according to their boiling points (such as gasoline); designing lubricating oils/lube oil distillation towers which remove solid particulates from crude oils prior tio separation into various fractions according

Petroleum Engineering Course Outline

  • Petroleum engineers work in many industries including:
  • Oil & Gas Production (Refining)
  • Petrochemical Processing Plants (Refining/Product Distribution)
  • Power Generation Plants
  • petroleum engineering subjects

Petroleum engineering is a field of engineering concerned with the development of new methods of extracting oil and gas from the earth, the design of drilling and production facilities, and the development of new products and services for the oil industry.

Petroleum engineers design processes that are used in refining crude oil into fuels such as gasoline or diesel fuel. They also design pipelines to transport these fuels through pipelines or storage tanks. The petroleum industry has grown rapidly over recent decades due to increasing demand for motor fuels around the world; this has led some countries to invest heavily in developing their own resources so they can meet their own needs instead of relying on imports from other countries.

We are offering the Petroleum and Gas Engineering Course.

We are offering the Petroleum and Gas Engineering Course. The department has been established in 1975 with the objective of providing technical education to its students who wish to pursue careers in this field. It is one of the oldest departments at Rawalpindi campus, having a rich heritage and history dating back to the inception of Pakistan’s petroleum industry by Dr. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in 1969 when it was first offered as an elective subject at QAU (Quaid-i-Azam University).

The Department aims at imparting quality basic & advanced training at undergraduate/postgraduate level with special emphasis on practical applications rather than theoretical knowledge which will enable students not only acquire technical skills but also develop sound reasoning abilities based on sound scientific principles so that they can become competent professionals able effectively contribute towards development process within their respective fields both domestically as well as internationally.
